The AIRDING Compact is the lightest bicycle airbag in its class - ultra-compact, stylish and inflates in less than 150 milliseconds. Maximum safety with minimum weight.

Developed for all those who ride their bike every day - whether on a road bike, triathlon bike, gravel bike, e-bike or city bike - the Compact offers reliable, invisible protection that is there in a flash in an emergency. No rucksack, no unnecessary ballast - just pure safety.

Protection

In the event of an accident, the integrated face airbag protects the face, in particular the cheekbones, the cervical spine, the collarbones and parts of the upper body. This model in particular covers the shoulders thanks to the lateral airbag section. The inflated airbag is plump and prevents more serious injuries such as whiplash or a broken neck, as the airbag encloses and fixes your neck without injuring you. With this model it is possible to wear a full-face helmet. A hydration bladder cannot be integrated.

A compact protector that also protects the upper part of the spine - while being extremely lightweight.

You can achieve optimum protection by wearing the Compact in combination with a cycle helmet.

Key data

The Compact impresses with its light weight of less than 850 grams, to which a replaceable inflator is added. Particularly remarkable is the lightning-fast inflation time of just 150 milliseconds, which can be crucial in emergencies. The sensors of the electronic unit measure the position, acceleration and movements of the cyclist 300 times per second. A specially developed algorithm continuously analyzes this data and detects potential falls. In the event of an accident, the airbag is triggered automatically, providing effective protection against injury.

With a long battery life of 30 hours, the Compact remains reliably ready for use even on longer tours and sporty rides.

Sustainability

The Compact is not only safe and comfortable, but also sustainable! To ensure that you can hold a long-lasting product in your hands, it is particularly important to us to develop reusable products. You can fold the airbag back in at any time, simply close the zippers again after it has burst open and replace the deployed inflator with a new one. We also source almost all of the individual components regionally and manufacture the bicycle airbag backpacks in our production facility in Erdingen.
