References and tests

It's amazing that we've received so much encouragement and that our bike airbag backpack is so fascinating. There are already videos and articles online that test, describe and rate our airbag. At the end of 2023, we even took third place on the winners' podium at the SAZsport Award Startrampe as the best start-up in the sports industry. We are delighted that passionate cyclists, influencers, etc. are becoming aware of us and want to work with us. We have compiled public contributions in the form of references, tests and findings for you here.

IMTEST lets it bang properly

In the video, IMTEST tests our airbag with stuntman Thomas Bloem.

And here is the detailed report from IMTEST about our bicycle airbag

Does it deliver what it promises? The MDR tests

Not only Jenna from the Einfach genial team tests our bicycle airbag on her own body, but also Hannes Winkler, who as a wrestling fighter knows how to fall. Watch the video to see if it ends well.

This is the cracker

Markus Pusch has succeeded in providing an informative and authentic all-round view in his video. He has successfully dealt with all the important topics on his own initiative. He does not shy away from taking a daring fall. Watch the video for the resolution of the release.

"I had a cycling accident three years ago, and since then I've been advocating for more safety."

We are particularly pleased about our collaboration with Martina Schilke. She rides a lot of road and gravel bikes and also undertakes the odd bikepacking tour. She has a large women's community in Hamburg at her side and is always out and about on her bike with her girls. Martina had a serious accident three years ago and has been advocating for more protection on the bike ever since. Take a look at her blog.

"I love it for the play on words alone."

Kai Pflaume about our Airding from Erding. We could hardly believe it when we asked him in the summer of 2023 whether Kai wanted to test our MASE Airding and he actually said yes. It was like a second Christmas. A big thank you to you, Kai!

The picture shows a tester testing the bicycle airbag backpack while cycling in the Austrian mountains. He is lying on the ground, his feet are stretched out in the air and the airbag is nestled against his face and upper body.

"THE AIRDING BICYCLE AIRBAG COULD PERHAPS HAVE MITIGATED MY FALL INJURY."

Chosen and selected fromAIR

We are particularly proud of our third place as the best start-up in the sports industry. Our innovative technology, which promises cyclists greater safety, impressed the jury across the board. More information about us, the SAZsport Award launch pad and the finalists can be found here.

Together we create revolution

The first bicycle airbag backpack was created in collaboration with EVOC. We still supply EVOC with our airbag and system units today. The Swabian tests.

A product that does not please is not bought

Michael Lehnert spoke to engineering psychology students at Landshut University of Applied Sciences as part of the theory-practice transfer. I wonder what they discussed? Read more here.
