Description
The AirTour stands for maximum protection with minimum weight!
Are you looking for the best possible protection and don't just want to travel quickly, but also safely and with as little extra weight as possible? Then the AirTour with its small pack size is exactly the right choice for you. MASE AIRDING is the first bicycle airbag backpack from the MASE brand.
Protection
In the event of an accident, the integrated face airbag protects the face, in particular the cheekbones, the cervical spine, the collarbones and parts of the upper body. The inflated airbag is plump and prevents more serious injuries such as whiplash or a broken neck, as the airbag encloses and secures your neck without injuring you. The volume of the neck brace also partially protects the shoulders.
A TÜV-certified, particularly lightweight back protector(protection level 1) is also integrated into every model to provide additional protection for the spine in the event of a fall.
You can achieve optimum protection by wearing the AirTour in combination with a bicycle helmet. While the AirCruise is recommended for habitual non-helmet wearers, the AirTour and AirRide are a supplement to the helmet.
Attention: The AirTour cannot be worn with a full-face helmet!
Special features
Thanks to its low weight, the AirTour is particularly suitable for all those cyclists who want to travel with minimal weight. At 1,100 grams, it is the lightest bicycle airbag backpack in the world. In order to achieve optimum safety with minimum weight, MASE has reduced all materials to a minimum. Instead of a single hip belt, the hip belt has been combined with the carrier system, thus reducing the number of buckles and integrating the side walls of the backpack in a particularly lightweight stretch material. Thanks to the fixations, you cannot wear the rucksack the wrong way round and therefore sit securely in the saddle at all times.
Recommended area of application
The AirTour is particularly suitable for weight-optimized cyclists and is recommended for the following areas:
- Road bike
- Triathlon
Sustainability
The AirTour is not only safe and comfortable, but also sustainable! To ensure that you can hold a long-lasting product in your hands, it is particularly important to us to develop reusable products. You can fold the airbag back in at any time, simply close the zippers again after it has burst open and replace the deployed inflator with a new one. We also source almost all of the individual components regionally and manufacture the bicycle airbag backpacks in our production facility in Erdingen.
MASE stands not only for quality, but also for trust - and this is reflected in every detail of the AirTour.
With the AIRDING series, we have created products that set new standards in terms of safety and technology. Cyclists can look forward to a reliable companion that can save lives in an emergency.
Don't say no to your safety. Get your own AirTour today.

I have been using the bicycle airbag backpack for 2 months now (approx. 2400km), fortunately without an accident. So I can't share any 'experience' of the protective effect. What I can say, however, is that it definitely increases the feeling of safety. As a commuter, I ride an S-pedelec (45 km/h) a lot in urban areas and it helps to have less to worry about. I also use it off-road as an MTB rider. It is comfortable to wear, the weight is low and well distributed. No annoying seams or anything like that. Of course, a little heat builds up, but my safety is worth it - I always wear a helmet.

For me, the backpack airbag is the game changer after my very serious cycling accident when my spine broke. It helped me to get back to my great passion, cycling in all its forms. The backpack gives you a certain degree of safety in areas that I can't control sufficiently myself. As I've always enjoyed riding with a backpack, the changeover to an airbag wasn't crucial. I ride 80 km a day on my S-Pedelec and many 100 km on bike tours, sometimes off-road. But never again without the backpack.
The MASE backpack itself is small and quite inconspicuous, practically like a large hydration bladder on your back. This means there is only minimal storage space for a cell phone, keys, thin windbreaker, etc.
However, the small size is also a small disadvantage for me (on my upper body), as it makes it difficult to find the perfect fit. You have to pull the two front straps down so far that the top fastening strap doesn't get stuck under your chin, which isn't easy. The backpack always wants to fall backwards from its balance. In my opinion, this is due to the lack of a lap belt and the small design of the rucksack, which actually sits perfectly in the upper part of the back.
Another thing that is not ideal is the function of the app, or rather the display of the battery status. This display is very unreliable. After a few hours of use, the LED on the safety buckle at the front starts to flash red/green, which, according to the operating instructions, prompts you to charge it soon. If you then look in the app, you always see charge levels above 50%, which in my opinion can't be right and makes me unsure.
All in all, however, I am happy with this great product!

Hi, I came across the Mase Airding by chance and thought it would be a great invention to minimize the risk of serious injuries in the event of a fall or accident.
I also decided to buy an Airding to get a safer feeling when riding my road bike again as I had a serious fracture in my shoulder area in a fall a few years ago.
The backpack is very comfortable to wear and doesn't get in the way even during sporty riding.
The instructions are easy to understand and the system is easy to use.
The contact with Mase was very nice and service-oriented
Thank you very much, I can only recommend ....... 🙂
